A team of professionals who excel in the fields of Reiki, Ashtanga Yoga, Nutritional Analysis, Chinese Medicine & Japanese Acupuncture have gathered at this ancient magical city to support you in your journey towards Feminine knowledge and strength. 

Within the luxurious and deeply relaxing surroundings of Zamzam Riad in the heart of the Marrakech medina we have created a dynamic retreat which includes talks on nutrition and energetically balanced live food and juices devised by our Nutritionalist. 

• Ashtanga yoga, a dynamic practice will be taught by Aisha Barzaghi, currently the Yoga specialist at Richard Branson’s Kasbah Tamadot.  This yoga will balance your female energies and hormonal endocrine system through pranas and breathwork.
• Reiki Attunements and group practice with Rebecca Hutley, Reiki Master from the Usui & Tibetan lineage will support the emotional body and help bring all aspects of your being into harmony.
• Talks by both a Nutritional Consultant from the Foresight clinic in West Sussex, UK and a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine specialising in Japanese Acupuncture focusing on women’s health issues and hormone balancing 
• Emma Joyston-Bechal, the owner of Zamzam Riad will support you in your visit to Marrakech with airport collection, knowledge of the area, luxurious pampering and full concierge for all your needs.

This retreat is suitable for all levels of Yoga and Reiki, including beginners looking for an introduction.

Dr Heigelmann’s Presentation will focus on explaining and demonstrating how TCM views women’s health.  She will discuss the difference between Modern and Traditional Medicines and how, all over the World doctors, Gynecologists and Obstetricians work hand in hand with Oriental Medicine Doctors to help women solve Gynecological conditions such as infertility, menstrual and menopause related conditions, assisting healthy pregnancy and child birth.  Dr Heigelmann will look at what makes oriental medicine so effective in helping women to stay healthy, demonstrating some key points for self help.

Dr Heigelmann joins us for the Goddess Retreat, Marrakech 2-6 February 2011

Dr. Katarzyna Anna Heigelmann

Registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Canada BC), B. SC

Katarzyna is a Registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine who studied and practiced in Vancouver BC Canada for 10 years and for 1 year now in Morocco.

After completing her Diploma as a Dr. of TCM she traveled to China where she apprenticed in an Acupuncture Hospital (He Fei, Anhui Province). In the Fifth year of her practice she discovered the wisdom of Japanese Traditional Medicine and has been undergoing regular training sessions with a Japanese Master ever since.

Katarzyna is passionate about Oriental philosophy and traditional science as well as spreading the word all over the world.  She has treated over 2000 patients and continues to study by attending world-wide lectures about the Science of Healing. 

She practices Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Nutrition and Tui Na Massage and trains students in her clinic.

Goddess Retreat Marrakech 3-6 February 2011

It is with great excitement that I am here writing about our up-coming Goddess Retreat in Marrakech at Riad Zamzam www.riadzamzam.com

After two powerful retreats in 2010, the team have come together to fine tune and increase the offering of our Retreats in 2011. 

We begin with the Goddess Retreat, creating a time and space  for women to come together and share the journey of their lives for three days.  In that time, the mind, body, emotions and energy will be stimulated and nurtured with Ashtanga Yoga, Reiki, Discussions and Talks about Chinese Medecine, Nutrition and Japanese Acupuncture from some of the most experienced people living the path themselves.  We take you into the medina to experience the depth of life happening there and then we take you to the desert to wonder at the silence that can exist.  To feel the duality of life whilst exploring your own internal world through the forms on offer and to be supported at every step. 

This retreat is a place of safety in which you can explore your own feminine power and what it is that may be getting in the way and stopping it flowing freely in your being.  Now is the time for women to move beyond their own personal awakenings and begin to come together with others to enhance this power, allowing it to radiate from their very beings.
