Reiki Masters
Dear all,
Having just completed a two day Reiki Master course on a one-to-one basis, I wanted to let you know the transformative time I have just spent with someone so committed to the Truth and to exploring all aspects of herself and her place in the Universe that the depth of the course was truly wonderful.
The Reiki Master attunement can be so deep and powerful and can literally shift awareness in that instant. I truly believe that the person who came on Monday is not the person who left on Tuesday. What are amazing are the facial changes that occur over any Reiki attunement course. People’s eyes are wider as if they really are seeing more, the skin is clearer and the personality is calmer. Often people close to those having just been attuned comment on the changes they see and feel, its also interesting to watch the reaction of pets after an attunement. After this Reiki Master course, the dog wanted to be close to the newly attuned Reiki practitioner and would not leave her side all night, enjoying soaking up the clean, clear energy of love emanating from her.
I wanted to write about this as I too received my Master attunement again at the end of the course as a way for the practitioner to practice the giving of attunements. This idea of re-attunement is one often not discussed by Reiki Masters in the West but in the tradition of Japanese Reiki it has often been referred to as an important part of the Reiki journey. A pracitioner would be attuned every time they saw their Master which at that time was fairly regularly.
I felt quite ill this morning and felt that my 21-day cleansing cycle was kicking in but instead of rushing about and not listening I was in quite a connected space and spent the day resting and taking herbs. I feel great now and very peaceful. I just did my weekly look at finances which usually stresses me out and I had a total feeling of detachment from it. It seems to be the emotional attachment to things which cause the rollercoaster or as the buddhists call it, the cycle of suffering. I’m happy when I have money and unhappy when there seems to be a shortfall and around and around the cycle goes. So, today the little figures on the paper were just that and I did what I had to do by moving them all around and I have to say what a relief, its done now and the feeling of peace remains. My own re-attunement feels quite deep and has been another shift of increased awareness for me.
So, as we continue to peel the layers of the onion, with each layer revealing more to us about our Truth, the use of the re-attunement can be a useful tool. Many people come to me at the Reiki II stage and ask to be re-attuned in preparation for the Masters but it can be used at any time by any level.

Hello Rebecca
I am a reiki master living in Peacehaven. I was very inspired by your website and all the wonderful information you share. Last night I felt it very important to connect with others in the reiki energy and was looking for a reiki circle, which is how I came to find you.
I think taking it into the schools is a wonderful idea.
I am also a hypnotherapist and nlp practioner and feel passionate about healing and the transformation that this brings.
I have trained as Goal Mapping Practitioner, and as my background is in residential social work my aim is to get this into childrens homes. As I know this will benefit the young people and the staff.
Do you know of any Reiki circles running at the moment in East Sussex?
Also I am looking to get a website together, can you suggest anyone.
I would love to meet you and have a chat. when you are not so busy.

Hello Josie and Rebecca-I am a homeopath practising in Brighton and have recently undertaken my Reiki 1 training in Thailand.
I feel so inspired to go further with reiki and I am surprised that i can’t find a reiki share/circle in Brighton.
Maybe we should set one up?
