Keeping it simple!
Hi,
Just thought I’d share with you my latest revelations! I was tiling the floor of our house which we have now decided to sell and move to Spain. Not a sudden decision, we were always going to do it but the change in market prices etc. has pushed us to move sooner. So, we’re on a mad one to finish doing up the house and put it on the market.
So, as I’m on my knees scrubbing the glue off the sides of the tiles, not very happy about it as these are now tiles for someone else’s kitchen, it came to me!
The confusion I’ve always felt in my life about what to do and where to do it and how to earn money blah blah blah, has in fact never been my confusion, just that handed to me by society and all those exisiting within its control. The answer is, ‘Find something you love doing, and then find a way of doing it how you want to’. So, that’s it, simple. Obviously, the finding the way to do it part will create its own hurdles as it will probably include making money etc. but otherwise, what on earth else is there to do here on this wonderful planet, except of course scuttle around like a mad mouse chasing its tail like most other people. We also have a lifetime to find a way to do it, so it shouldn’t be too difficult.
Wow, I felt excited but also sick at the same time. What have I been doing for 34 years? A worrying thought, basically I’ve been chasing my tail. The constraints on my own happiness have only come from my own thought patterns inherited by my society. To do what you love doing, no, that is impossible, life must be hard and maybe when you get to 65 you can sit down and stop chasing your tail.
Well, I don’t think so somehow!
So, that’s it, tail chasing over. I’m off to Spain to ride my own horses.
